Silver Dollar “Showroom Session” Featuring Scotty Emerick

Silver Dollar “Showroom Session” Featuring Scotty Emerick

Former “Songwriter of the Year” to Bring Twenty Years of Hits to Silver Dollar Showroom on March 10th.

If Scotty Emerick’s name isn’t on the tongue of every country music fan, many of the songs he has created certainly are. A prolific songwriter most famous for his work with Toby Keith, Emerick will perform and tell the stories behind his songs at the upcoming Silver Dollar Showroom Session on March 10th.

Some of the most recognizable anthems written by Emerick include, “I Love this Bar,” “Beer for My Horses,” “I’m Just Talkin’ About Tonight,” “As Good as I Once Was,” and “Whiskey Girl.” In addition to penning these sing along favorites, and regularly appearing as a special guest on the mega-star’s national tours, Emerick has also written for chart-toppers including George Strait, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington and Sawyer Brown. In 2004, Emerick was named “Songwriter of the Year” by the Nashville Songwriters Association. His own album, The Coast is Clear, landed four singles on the country charts.

The Silver Dollar Showroom Sessions at the iconic Silver Dollar Bar offer a great dinner and world class entertainment in an intimate venue. Doors open for a wine reception at 6pm, followed by a three-course dinner and the performance. Tickets, sold by the table, are very limited and go on-sale at 10am MT on Friday, February 18th.
