Live Music!

Time: 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM

One summer day, a random assortment of new friends were playing music behind the Dornan’s
Hootenanny stage. Someone exclaimed, "did we just start a band?" And just like that, the
Marmorts were born. Comprised of Molly Watters (guitar/banjo), Hannah McLimans (fiddle),
Amy Lorenz (accordion), Joel Sandoval (bass), and Ben Rossetter (mandolin), the Marmots play
an assortment of acoustic originals and covers of classic folk, bluegrass, and Americana (as
well as the occasional disco or 90s hit). They blend intricate harmonies with rich
instrumentation, often combining a quick, foot-stomping fiddle tune with powerful vocals. Equally
at home in an intimate setting and a loud bar, they have played a variety of shows around the
Tetons including farmers markets & nonprofit events, private parties & weddings, and concerts
at local venues like the Center for the Arts and Tetonia Club. And of course, they are still
Hootenanny regulars, routinely testing out various permutations of instruments, vocals, and new
favorite songs.
